American Airlines Flight 63 Heros

Pictured here are the American Airlines Flight 63 "Hero's" (with NBC Matt Lauer) who prevented Richard Reid, the converted "Islamic Terrorist Thug" imprisoned for attempting to blow-up an American Airlines jet 2 days before Christmas in 2001, on a flight from Paris to Miami with 197 passengers on board.

Richard Reid, serving a life sentence in a federal prison says, "...I have no regrets..." and trusts God will set him free, according to the "Daily Mirror"

During the flight, an alert Flight Attendant became suspicious when she smelled the scent of sulfur from a lit match as Reid, attempted to light a fuse wire coming out from his shoe. When Reid was confronted, he fought with the flight crew, biting the hand of a Flight Attendant but was finally subdued with the assistance of passengers who overpowered the terrorist so he could be restrained.

The pilots immediately declared an Emergency and two Navy F-15 jets met the aircraft and escorted the Boeing 767 into Boston Logan Airport where the FBI met the flight upon arrival and arrested the wanna-be Islamic suicide terrorist.

Physician Makes Aliyah With 250 Year Old Scroll

Kevin Schreiber, M.D. his wife and children arrived into Israel with a scroll hidden during World War II in an ancient Synagogue, the scroll was found in the library by a relative of Dr. Schreiber's who visited Krakow in 1998 and brought it to the United States.

Israel Officials, family and friends greeted the arrival of the El Al flight which included 220 Jew's from the United States, the oldest arriving immigrant was 86 years old, the youngest 11 months and were from 18 States and the District of Columbia. The new immigrants will be moving to 33 different cities throughout Israel including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Ra'anana known for large American populated cities.

Among the thousands of new immigrants arriving this year, the recent flight included 3 Rabbi's, 28 members of a family and 8 new IDF Soldiers.

The Aliyah Department anticipates that American immigration to Israel will increase between 5-10% in 2007 marking the highest number of new arrivals in 25 years.

Israel Rights Group to open office in Washington

Working to educate Members of Congress and Americans about Israel, a Jewish group plans to open an office up in Washington, D.C. according to JTA News.

The organization will work to generate discussion about Israel, presenting relevant information and facts, to counter the pro-Arab bias and disinformation which all too often is echoed by the archaic media.

Israel No Visa Required

Soon Israeli Citizens may be able to visit the USA for up to 90 days without a Visa, last week the Congress voted to permit citizens from our best friend in the Middle East the exemption.

The President is expected to sign the legislation when it arrives at his desk, which will expand trade and tourism between the USA and Israel.

Chinese Underground Catholic Church Bishop Zhao Zhendong Dies

Bishop Philippus Petrus Zhao Zhendong of Xuanhua 87, passed away quietly while studying earlier this month. The Leader of the Underground Catholic Church in China, had been imprisoned by the government for 18 years during the Cultural Revolution.

Bishop Zhao a Catholic convert, was again imprisoned in 2004 for 1 year, for Ordaining Priests in defiance of government orders. He was laid to rest last week. Chinese officials did not place any restrictions on attendance by the mourners, in contrast to earlier funerals when the government placed tight restrictions on attendance of funerals of underground church leaders.

Poland Uncovers Nazi Labor Camp Remains

Authorities in the Village of Pustkowo in southeastern Poland, have uncovered the remains of a Nazi Labor Camp and the skeletal remains of prisoners. The remains have been unearthed 60 miles east of Krakow.

Polish authorities believe the remains were burned and then buried by the Nazi's in 1940, it is estimated that there may be remains of up to 15,000 people at the camp, mainly Poles, Jews and Russians. Polish authorities have proposed building a Memorial in honor of the victims and covering the site with transparent glass.

China's Kidnapped Children Slaves

Disabled Children in China, are being abducted at train stations, bus stops and from the side of the road by human traders and forced out into the street to beg or sold for 500 Yuan and forced into slave labor to work 16 hours a day in factories, coal mines or building bricks according to Tony Cheng.

Children are being brutalized and forced to live like animals with long unwashed hair, working with injuries to the feet and hands and totally isolated from all contact with the outside world for years. When some children have attempted to escape from their captors, they are tortured and burned with hot searing irons to their back and are forced to return to work without receiving any medical care. Some children incapable of working are buried alive.

The children bodies are covered with scabs and the children are sick from not being able to shower or bathe. These children from Sichuan and Hebei, have been lost into slavery in Shanxi Provience and the local Police turn a blind eye to the human sufferings, being paid bribes to ignore the cries and abuses of children. Children such as Gao Zhou do not have the use of her legs and forced to move around on a skateboard. Yang Ping, born with a curved spine which forces her to walk like a spider was kidnapped from her family and forced on to the street to beg, some days earning only 20 Yuan ($1.00 USD= 8 Yuan) and is then beaten at night for not earning enough money for her captors.

Israel Company Plans to Build Worlds Largest Solar Park In California

Israel's Solel Solar System announced plans last week to construct the worlds largest solar park in the Mojave Desert in California which will generate enough electricity to power 400,000 homes in Central and Northern California according to Pacific Gas and Electric.

The $2 Billion Dollar project is expected to be finished by 2011 and stretch over 6,000 acres or 9 square miles.

David Saul, project manager for the Mojave Solar Park said that components for the plant will be manufactured at its plant Jerusalem.

First Jewish Charter School To Open in Florida

The nations first Jewish Charter School is set to open in Hollywood, FL. on August 20 during the standing room only School Board Meeting on July 24 school officials gave the green light for 430 students to be able to attend the new school where 2 hours of instruction a day will be devoted to Jewish related topics.

Rabbi Adam Siegel said that students will learn Hebrew, Jewish culture and Jewish history, the school will serve Kosher meals and students will be permitted to organize their own worship services.

The new Jewish themed school is named after Rabbi Joshua Ben Gamla, a first century Rabbi in ancient Israel who is credited for establishing the concept of public education.

FBI Raids Hamas and Hezbollah Charities in Dearborn, Michigan

Tuesday Federal Agents raided two Islamic Charities in Dearborn, MI that have been accused in supporting the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah. The federal administrative order which resulted in the closure of both Islamic charities also included Arrest Warrants for two Lebanese Men, who acted as a go between from the charitable organizations to Hezbollah.

The "Goodwill Charitable Organization" and the "Martyrs Foundation" are front organizations that channel money to Islamic Fascist organizations. The actions taken on Tuesday, resulted in the freezing of all assets and bank accounts of the charities and a ban on Americans from doing any further business with either charity.

Another Islamic charity the "Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development" in which CAIR has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator, is on Trial currently in Federal Court in Dallas, TX after a decade long FBI investigation into their ties into financially supporting Hamas.

At the start of the Trial in Dallas, U.S. Atty James Jacks said in his opening statement on Tuesday, "...the charities leaders lied about their purpose because to tell the truth is to reveal what they were about, the destruction of the State of Israel and replacing it with a Palestinian Islamic state..." The Islamic charities have been accused in channeling $36 Million Dollars to individuals and groups tied to Hamas.

University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann Participates in an event that Glorifies Islamic Terrorism

University President Amy Gutmann seen here is posing with a student dressed as an Islamic Terrorist Suicide Bomber, in other photos the student is seen just before doing mock executions.

This behavior is outrageous and the University of Pennsylvania should have fired Dr. Amy Gutmann soon after these pictures surfaced. According to the University of Pennsylvania web-site, Dr. Gutmann in 2005 was appointed to the "National Security Higher Education Advisory Board" a committee that advises the FBI on National Security issues involving academia.

In a Scholarly Article written by Dr. Gutmann this year entitled "The Lure and Dangers of Extremists Rhetoric" she states, "...extremist rhetoric is not, in and of itself, morally bad. Some extremist rhetoric is entertaining..."

I am sure the Families and Friends who lost loved ones on 9/11 in NYC, Washington or aboard United Flight 93 which crashed in Pennsylvania do not share Amy Gutmann's views that "...Some extremist rhetoric is entertaining..."

What is the Dept. of Justice thinking when it permits its FBI Agents to be advised on National Security Issues by wacko educators like Amy Gutmann? Why hasn't she been fired?

Clinton Administration Ignored Islamic Terrorists Threats Against the United States

On this day in history in the Clinton Administration stopped focusing on Islamic Terrorism to instead focus on Domestic Terrorism, which led to the FBI ignoring Muslims enrolling in U.S. Flight Schools learning how to fly airplanes, uninterested though in how to land them.

The FBI said the shift was swift and that the Agency ignored evidence boxes gathered following the 1993 WTC Bombing, the boxes contained important evidence of Al-Qaida's network which remained unopened until after September 11

The alleged mastermind of the 9/11 Attacks Khalid Shaikh Mohammed is accused of conspiring with Ramzi Yousef in the first bombing of the WTC in 1993 which resulted in 6 deaths and over 1,000 injuries.

Former Clinton Administration officials said, "...the FBI's counter-terrorism shift was a result of Waco, Oklahoma City and the Atlantic Park Bombing..."

Those Domestic Terrorists were all unconnected, unlike the Islamic Fascists that are at war with the United States and during the years prior to September 11 were responsible for increased attacks on targets such as: Pan Am 103 on 21 December, 1988; WTC Attack in 1993; bombings at U.S. Military installations in Saudi Arabia in 1995 and 1996; U.S. Embassy Bombing in Africa in 1998; USS Cole Bombing in 2000; While Domestic Terrorism had stopped, foreign terrorism against Americans continued.

The Clinton Administration chose to ignore Islamic Terrorists threats against the United States resulting in the culmination of the events of September 11 a second attack on the WTC resulting in the loss of over 2750 innocent people and multiple other deaths in Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon.

Senator Clinton now calls herself a "Progressive Democrat" even though she is seen here addressing the "Liberal Party of New York State" founded in 1944 as an alternative to the "American Labor Party" (Socialist Party) which favors Abortion Rights, more spending on Education and Nationalized Health Care. Like her husband, Hillary Clinton will say whatever is politically expedient at the time at any forum she addresses.

At last nights "Democratic YouTube Talkie" a California voter asked Senator Clinton how she would define the word Liberal? Would you use the word to describe yourself?

Senator Clinton replied, "You know, it is a word that originally meant that you were for freedom to achieve, that you were willing to stand against big power and on behalf of the individual. Unfortunately in the last 30-40 years, it has been turned up on its head and its been made to seem as though its a word that describes big government, totally contrary to what its meaning was in the 19th or 20th centuries. I prefer the word Progressive...I consider myself a modern progressive...so I consider myself a proud modern American Progressive..."

The Liberal Group "Americans For Democratic Action" gave Senator Clinton a 95% Liberal Quotient in 2006, one of the highest in the Senate.

Jews Gather in the Kotel Plaza for Tisha B'Av 5767

Monday evening marks the beginning of Tisha B'Av, to commemorate the loss of the First and Second Jerusalem Temples. Thousand came to the Western Wall of the Old City Jerusalem to remember the "Fast Day" and to never forget the significance of this day in history.

This day Jews remember the "mourning and despair" but within the sadness of today there is hope, that despite much suffering Judaism survives.

The Western Wall is the last standing wall of the Temple and the remnant which provides for a sense of hope, renewal and strength as one marks today as an opportunity for solace and for prayer at the beloved Temple site.

The Talmudic sages speak of the special nature of the Wall. Rabbi Acha stated that the "Shekhinah" Special Divine Presence of G-d will never depart from the Western Wall. The Midrash cites a quote from Solomon's Song of Songs, "Behold He stands behind our Wall." Song of Solomon 2:9

Syria threatens Israel with Ballistic War

Syria is threatening a Ballistic War with Israel according to "Defense News Weekly", the Syrians prefer a missile barrage against Israel instead of a direct confrontation with the more technically superior Israel Defense Force (IDF) and that the new conflict will be protracted.

Al-Sharq al-Awsat recently reported that the Syria has obtained C-802 Missiles manufactured by China and sold to Iran, in addition Russia has indicated a willingness to sell Syria its "Iskander" missile which has a range of 280 KM which has GPS technology.

Iran and Syria last week entered into a military alliance and Iran has promised Syria up to $1 Billion Dollars worth of weapons.

The C-802 Missile provided to Syria from Iran, first unveiled in 1989 as an anti-ship missile has a low attack path of between 5-7 meters (about 17-20 feet) above sea level with a strong anti-jamming capability with a hit capability of about 98% and may be launched from a ship, submarine, aircraft and land based vehicles. When the missile is launched it will reach a speed of 0-0.9 Mach in seconds, after the booster burns out, it detaches from the missile body and the missile's turbo-jet begins working. Last year it was estimated that the Iranian Navy has approximately 60 C-802 missiles.

Defense News.com reported today that, "...Syria has Soviet made SS-21 Missiles and has built a large arsenal of Scud Ballistic-D missiles...and has purchased other missiles from Russia and Iran with a range of up to 200 KM (124.27 miles)..."

The SS-21 were supplied to Syria from the USSR in 1983 and is a single stage solid propellant guided ballistic missile that may carry a nuclear, chemical or conventional warhead.

On July 17 Syria President Assad said after being sworn into office for his second term, "The current year will be fateful and the remaining months of this year will determine the destiny and future of the region and maybe the world..."

Currently the U.S. Navy has 3 carrier strike groups stationed off the coast of Iran, more than 70 aircraft are aboard the USS Stennis, the United States Navy has recently likewise deployed the USS Enterprise to the area. Positioning the Naval forces to the area provides the Navy with the capability of doing 24 hour reconnaissance over the region.

$21.763 Million Dollars requested by Robert Byrd (D-WV) of these Earmarks $1 Million for the Leetown Science Center and $450,000. for Trail Improvements at the Monongahela Natl. Forest;

$2 Million Dollars for the Charles Rangel (D-NY) Center for Public Service Bldg. in Harlem. The Center is aimed at steering low income and minority students into politics;

$3.8 Million Dollars for the replacement of a glass wall at the Kennedy Center Grand Foyer;

Maria Cantwell (D-WA) & Patty Murray (D-WA) steered $1 Million Dollars for Spatina Grass Education at Washington State Willapa Natl. Wildlife Refuge.

During his 16 years in Congress, John Boehner (R-OH) has never requested an Earmark.

In other Congressional Business: Democrats have launched over 300 Congressional investigations and have sent the White House over 350 requests for documents and have had over 600 Congressional Over Sight Hearings since Democrats took over Congress 7 months ago.

On July 11, Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX) and Mark Steven Kirk (R-IL) have introduced HR 2964 which seeks to halt the commerce in Monkeys. Rep. Johnson says that this legislation is vital because, "...Primates are highly intelligent...this legislation responds to a matter of public health...the animals deserve to live where their needs will be met and their conditions will be monitored..." (Monitoring Monkeys conditions, sounds like another plan in the making to spend more money)

Congressional Democrats claim that Voters gave them a mandate to change the way the GOP had run Congress. Liberals are eager to show the American people that they are different than Conservatives.

Why Do I Support the Republican Party

Founded in 1854 the Republican Party must be closely associated with our late beloved President Abraham Lincoln, our first GOP President who prosecuted the Civil War against slavery with Courage and with devotion to God.

Today's Republican party supports free enterprise and many Republican's remain committed to Conservative values of limited government, strong national defense and support friendly family issues.

The Republican Party does not believe in Judicial activism but believes that Jurists should practice judicial restraint. We believe that Congress should have less of a roll in peoples lives and that more authority needs to reserved to the States.

The Republican Party does believe in a strong national defense and I am thankful that we were fortunate to have George Bush as President on 9/11 who took swift decisive action against the Islamic fascists who attacked us resulting in over 3,000 deaths of innocent people. Our President has diligently prosecuted the War against the Islamic fascists that continue to want to destroy our democratic values and our way of life.

Abraham Lincoln said, "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." Republicans do support the values of democracy throughout the world and we care and will defend our democratic allies such as Israel. Today our best friend in the middle east Israel, is being threatened by Islamic fascists in Iran & Syria that have said they intend to attack and annihilate our devoted friend. We share the same democratic principles and values as Israel and must never betray our commitments. A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed.

The Islamic fascists are promoting tyranny that control people with fear and terrorism.

As a free people we must stand up against tyrannical evil forces that have no value for human life, decency, religious freedoms, peace and prosperity.

American Airlines Flight Attendant Crusade to Save Beautiful Stained Glass Window from Wrecking Ball

To Eileen V. Clifford, the beautiful stained glass window in Terminal 8 at JFK Airport is more than just beautiful panes of glass the 317 foot window had been at one time the largest in the world which had greeted travelers since JFK Airport (then known as Idelwild) open in 1960 the 23 feet high glass facade was designed by artist Robert Sowers. Ms. Clifford said, "To tear down a showpiece of this magnitude is a sad thought."

American Airlines is building a new terminal at JFK and had initially said, "...the window must come down." In May, American Airlines formally requested proposals for groups that would be willing to dismantle the artwork and reassemble it elsewhere.

Ansar Al-Islam Promises Jihad

On June 28, 2007 Ansar Al-Islam promised to export Jihad against North Africa as it continues its path towards world domination.

Ansar Al-Islam says, "...in the land of Muslim Sahara, the Land of the Veiled Ones officially declare our Jihad against the government agents...and against all the foreign governments...we call on the Muslim youth to make ready and make preparations and to know their missions and break these boarders...We say to our Brothers of Al Qaeda, to stay fast on your course and you will not be harmed by those who forsook you or who are opposed to you. Our cause is one cause and we will have the responsibility of unifying this Umma, Allah willing and establishing Allah's religion on earth."

The U.S. Pacifists and Congressional Liberals that believe that the prudent should "Cut and Run from Iraq" only continues to embolden the Islamic fascists.

Iran & Syria Form Military Alliance

Iranian President Ahmadinejad and Syrian President Assad confirmed late last week that they have formed a Military Alliance and said, "...our nations are united in a frontier facing common enemies of the peoples of the region...Syria and Iran are inspiring this Summer to be Hot by virtue of the victories that will be attained by the peoples of the region...and the enemies...are on their way to perdition and defeat."

Syria has threatened a War in the region by August/September if Israel does not vacate the Golan Heights, President Assad said last week, "...Syrian fighters will immediately launch resistance operations against Jewish communities in the Golan Heights."

The "Baath Party" has reportedly sent messages to the United States saying, "...that we demand the return of the Golan Heights through negotiations but if the Golan is not in our hand by August/September, we will be poised to launch a resistance, including raids and attacks against Jewish positions." Former Syrian Minister Mahdi Dakhlallah said in June that, "...Syria is preparing to use Hezbollah guerrilla tactics..."

The Baath Party said a new group called the "Committees for the Liberation of the Golan Heights" has been training and was ready to mount attacks...Syria is ready for a war...and has the capability of firing hundreds of missiles at Tel Aviv."

The Golan Heights is about 38 miles long and about 13 miles wide, mountains run from the upper Jordan rift valley and Lake Kinneret to the West, the Yarmuk valley to the South and Mt. Hermon to the North. On Israel's side of the Golan is a steep incline from the Golan plateau down to the densely populated Hula Valley and the Eastern shore of Kinneret. The Golan Heights is 1 of 3 sources of Israel's fresh water supply.

In 1964 Syria attempted to divert water away from Israel in a blatant attempt to cripple Israel's fresh water supply.

Today the Israel Defense Force (IDF) conducts surveillance throughout the Golan Heights visually and with radar watching the Golan as Syria continues to mount its Army at the Boarder. The Golan Heights is a natural defensive buffer zone for Israel.

Should Syria attempt to launch an attack (as they have done before, the IDF has learned) that the area is channeled by only two passes in which armored vehicles may pass. During the 1973 Yom Kippur War about 150 Israel Tanks stopped invading Syrian columns of more than 1,400 tanks in the "Bottleneck Valley of Tears" pass in the North and through the Volcanic Hills to the South. The outnumbered IDF Tanks were able to hold off the vastly larger Syrian deployment for 48 hours as Israel mobilized sufficient forces to defeat the Syrian invaders.

A pullback from the Golan Heights would leave Israel vulnerable to attack again by Syria and its partner Iran.

IDF Major-General Eyal Ben Reuven, speaking last week at the "Israel Institute for Natl. Security Studies" said, "...that when War breaks out Syria is prepared to suffer mass casualties, while playing on Israel's sensitivity to civilian losses by striking at Israel's home front with as many missiles as possible...Syria will try to hit Israel's home in order to win diplomatic gains...Israel is training for a swift and overwhelming invasion of Syria to knock out the areas from where missiles are launched against Israel as quickly as possible."

The U.S. Navy recently announced that a 3rd Carrier Strike Group has been positioned off of Iran's coast led by the Aircraft Carrier USS Enterprise. The United States considers both Iran and Syria state sponsors of terrorism and has repeatedly stated the two regimes are financing insurgents in Iraq.

The new military alliance formed between Iran and Syria is eerily reminiscent of the pacts executed on the eve of the Six Day War and Yom Kippur War.
