Twenty Three former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are calling on the ruling regime to allow freedom of speech and press in the country but as soon as their letter was published, it was removed from Chinese websites.
The group of retired CCP elders, including the former publisher of the state run Peoples Daily, sent the open letter last week to Beijing---the letter urged the National Peoples Congress to uphold the Constitution and abolish censorship.
