Death from a Broken Heart

Death from a broken heart, research published this month by Cass Business School in London has found that the chances of dying in the year immediately following the death of a spouse could be up to twice as likely for Women and six times as Likely for Men.

The findings demonstrate the strong dependence between the lives of couples.

I have made it a personal practice to tell the people that I care for that I do love them. Likewise my really good friends are an extension of my family and I remind them regularly that they are truly special and that I love them.

The research suggests that those who feel their lives are meaningless and hopeless are particularly at risk.
