Israel Destroyed Syrian Nuclear Reactor

Israel destroyed a Nuclear Reactor in Syria, September 6, 2007 late at night the CIA confirmed. The Syrian core reactor design was the same as that of North Korea's reactor at Yongbyon, including a virtually identical configuration and number of holes for fuel rods. Lawmakers will be shown a video shot by Israeli Intelligence of images from inside the facility, which shows North Korean workers and the Nuclear Reactor core.

Pictured here before and after satellite images of Syria's Nuclear reactor that North Korea was helping to construct.

Subsequent to the attack, Syria bulldozed the area and has constructed a new building there.
