Chinese Women Sue CNN

Last week I wrote here that CNN Jack Cafferty called Chinese "a bunch of Goons & Thugs" which sparked protests in Los Angeles and around the world.

A group of 14 Attorneys in Beijing have initiated a law suit naming CNN as a Defendant for violating the"dignity of the Chinese people." One of the Attorneys representing the Plaintiff's said that Cafferty's remarks "seriously violated and abused the reputation and dignity of the Plaintiff's as Chinese people and caused serious spiritual and psychological injury to the Plaintiff's."

In New York, litigation was commenced against CNN by a Beautician Lydia Leung & Li Lilan, the two Women are being represented by Ming Hai. The Plaintiff's are seeking $1.3 Billion Dollars in Damages or $1.00 for each Chinese person.

A hotel in Xuzhou Jiangsu Province has now banned all CNN programs as a result of the disparaging comment by Jack Cafferty.
