New homes in the final stage of construction are pictured in Hongkou Township, Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province two years after the catastrophic 8.0 earthquake.
Farmers left devastated by the Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008 will be moving into their new homes by 30 September this year.
The homes in Sichuan's Dujiangyan City, 11 KM away from the epicenter of the earthquake (two years ago today) were built by the farmers with the same style and infrastructure facilities with the help of the government.
The surrounding of these homes could easily match some of the luxury villas in the suburban areas.
The money for building the houses came from the governments housing compensation, the compensation that farmers received from transferring their original home sites and their own savings.

"Why did the government put censorship on critical messages??? Government says to Chinese Media, only report good news and hero stories...Why do they have to censor critical voices unless they have something to hide. Until there is a free media in China we have to also read Hong Kong news and overseas news to understand the truth of what happened."
