The Bush Administration to the rescue despite the Senate rejection of an auto bailout, the White House declared today that it would step in to prevent the precipitous collapse of the U.S. auto industry.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-CA called Republicans in the Senate irresponsible for rejecting the latest bailout. What is irresponsible is giving away tax-payers money to Detroit when they need to be reorganized.
The use of TARP money to bailout Detroit is unconscionable, Detroit is no Financial Institution they manufacture cars and trucks.
