Don't take the bait. A new variant of the Koobface worm is hitting Facebook after previously making its rounds on MySpace.
The worm was discovered by IT security provider Kapersky Lab, which said the threat "Networm.Win32.Koobface.b" is targeting Facebook users by creating spam messages and sending them to infected users friends via the site.
Facebook is aware of the threat, McAfee Labs said and is purging the spammed links from its system.
