Taiwan Democracy--Defending Independence

College Students hold a sit in at the front of Taiwan's Cabinet in Taipei protesting the Police abuse of power, while handling pro Democracy demonstrations during Chen Yunlin's visit from China.

A pro Democracy demonstrator displays a placard of Taiwan
President Ma Ying jeou, which reads "Refuse Chinese Products"
President Ma, made history when he became the first leader to meet with a senior Chinese representative since the end of the war with China in 1949

Pro Democracy demonstrators hold a sign which reads "Get Out
Chen Yunlin." Police use water cannons to break up pro Democracy demonstrations injuring many innocent people. An anti Chinese protester cries after a scuffle with Police.

Hundreds of pro Democracy demonstrators were removed by Police protesting the visit of Chen Yunlin from China.

President Ma is handing Taiwan to China? The Chinese American community and all freedom loving people need to be aware of the events occurring in Taiwan as we stand with our ally.
