Thieves in Detroit stole an 8 foot tall Jesus statue, which appeared to look like copper that was made of plaster.
Rev. Barry Randolph, holds part of the hand from the statue which was stolen from the wall of the Church of the Messiah on Detroit's east side.
"Its so crazy, its been there for a long time and was a symbol of hope to a lot of people in the neighborhood," said Rev. Randolph.
