Israel Donates Relief Supplies To China

Israel has donated more than $1.5 Million Dollars worth of materials for the Survivors of the Sichuan Earthquake.

Two shipments are being sent by Israel the first arrived Thursday afternoon consisting of sleeping bags, blankets and water purifiers, the second shipment will arrive in China soon, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Two elderly Survivors were rescued Thursday, from a quake struck mountain after being stranded for 11 days.

Relief supplies including rice, milk powder, salt and disinfectants are being collected in Beijing for earthquake survivors. Qin Gang, Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that China is in urgent need for more tents or movable houses for Sichuan earthquake survivors.
