"Heroic" Black Power Fists & Obama

Perhaps the best known examples are the clinched fists of American Sprinters John Carlos and Tommie Smith, who at the 1968 Olympic games raised their arms on the medal podium during the playing of the national anthem, in salute of the Black Power movement, that believes in smashing everything western civilization has created.

A similar Black Power trophy adorns the office of Barack Obama's adopted Uncle Jeremiah Wright.

Senator Obama attended Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years, because he agreed with the anti-Semitic message and took his children to church so they could be taught racism and bigotry Sunday after Sunday.
