Hillary Clinton's call for Universal Health Care today would require businesses to obtain health care for all of their employees and said the wealthy should pay more in taxes to pay for her socialized medicine.Clinton calls her proposal the American Health Choices Plan but actually would give Americans no choice at all. Some Americans that are young and healthy choose not to buy coverage but to Hillary, forcing everyone to participate is a choice. The new socialized medical plan would cost tax-payers $110 Billion Dollars a year according to Clinton.
Anything which the government gets involved in besides creating new federal bureaucracies tend to cost considerable more than forecast.
Hillary claims that she has identified $56 Billion Dollars in savings through computerized record keeping, reducing the prices for prescription drugs and cutting Medicare over payments.
Currently Wal-Mart is selling commonly prescribed generic drugs throughout the country for $4.00 and has announced plans to set up convenient walk-in clinics at many of its stores nationwide. The free market place is already providing American consumers with a choice---Hillary Clinton must not be a Wal-Mart shopper?
