Oklahoma To Obama: Buzz Off
Via News OK
Oklahoma House Members have voted to override the Governors veto reasserting their sovereignty, telling Obama and the Dems in Congress to get back to their constitutional roll.
The Tenth Amendment affirms freedom and independence of each state from the federal government, restoring the balance of power.
The central government is authorized to exercise only those powers granted to it by the Constitution.
The U.S. Constitution provides for strict limits on the powers of the central government and adopted the 10th Amendment to emphasize the fact that the states remained individual and sovereign. Any attempt of the central government to legislate beyond the Constitutional limits is a usurpation of state sovereignty and illegal.
