Senator Feinstein's Husband's Real Estate Firm Awarded Lucrative Government Contract
Why are these two smiling? They have a lot to be thankful for,
Sen. Diane Feinstein, D-CA knows how to bring home the bacon
to California---it starts with making sure the family is well provided
for first.
On the day the New Congress convened this year, Sen. Feinstein, introduced legislation to route $25 Billion in taxpayers money to a government agency that had just awarded a contract to her husband's real estate firm, a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than industry norms.
Sen. Feinstein's intervention on behalf of the FDIC was unusual, the California Democrat isn't a member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs with juridiction over the FDIC and the agency is supposed to be operating from money it raises from bank paid insurance payments, not direct federal dollars.
