Sichuan Survivors Remember Their Loved Ones Seek Hope Ahead Of Chinese Lunar New Year










A grieving woman burns paper money as she mourns family that were killed during the catastrophic Sichuan Eaerthquake---many residents are mourning loved ones as the first Chinese New Year approaches since the disaster.

Sichuan survivors remain festive and full of cheer. Li Huahui, is determined to make this Spring Festival particularly special despite losing all of her belongings in the catastrophic earthquake.

Some relief supplies and aid intended for the survivors of the catastrophic Sichuan Earthquake were misused Chinese authorities had promised that they had corrected the mismanagement and abuse last June, it appears that bureaucracy has again failed the most vunerable miserably.
