Yesterday B. Hussein Obama stumped for Green Jobs outside of Cleveland that manufactures unique screws and bolts needed for commercial construction of wind turbines using the company as a backdrop for the economic success of Green Jobs.
What about the lay offs in the industry Mr. Obama? North Dakota based D.M.I. Industries which manufactures turbine towers, is laying off 20% of its work force across three plants in the USA and Canada the news comes just 6 months after it had announced grandiose expansion plans.
The wind business requires an enormous amount of capitalization, with the banking crisis, financial institutions are unwilling to lend money. Remember when Oil Tycoon T. Boone Pickens was touting
his latest venture during the Presidential Campaign.
T.Boone Pickens has now delayed his wind power farm plan citing the collapse of energy prices.
No matter how much money the American taxpayers may spend on alternative energy, it will be the marketplace and not government that will realize success or failure of green energy.
