A group of tearful Mother's whose children have become ill from melamine tainted milk, speak to journalists yesterday. Yalin Jiang, spoke with reporters including Li Zhang, whose 1 year old daughter has been hospitalized for a long time as a result of the tainted milk.
Police were monitoring the interviews closely while plain clothes officers were taking photos and video taping the interviews.
Today a group of parents who children have fallen sick from the tainted milk were detained by Chinese authorities preventing them from speaking with journalist again today.
At least 6 children have already died from kidney stones and more than 290,000 others have been sickened by the tainted milk.
