Tonight Is An Opportunity For A New Conservative Revolution For America

Our Noble Vision: An Opportunity Society For All In 1984 when Ronald Reagan spoke at CPAC, he shared with us his view of Conservatism and galvanized our nation to reject the dismal failures
of Liberalism, recognizing optimism and a clear vision for our future.

"The difference between the path of greater freedom or bigger government is the difference between success and failure; between opportunity and coercion; between faith in a glorious future and fear of mediocrity and despair; between respecting people as adults, each with a spark of greatness and treating them as helpless children to be forever dependent; between a drab materialistic world where Big Brother rules by promises to special interest groups and a world
of adventure where everyday, people set their sights on impossible dreams, distant stars and the Kingdom of God. We have the true message of hope for America."

Ronald Reagan's faith was in America, reminding us that our best days were ahead. We realized that government doesn't provide opportunity and often times is the cause of our problems.

During the last two years President Elect Obama, has fed Americans a diet of platitudes---hope and change that somehow grandiose dreams of a larger government will enable one to prosper by "sharing the wealth."

Have we not learned anything from the greatest President of our time?

The Reagan Revolution began to reshape our nation by slowing the growth of big government, reducing taxes so that every American could keep more of their own money, creating prosperity, a sense of pride in ourselves and our accomplishments. Ronald Reagan said, "Our nation exists for one purpose only---to assure each one of us the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order."

We must recognize that patriotism and honor are not realized in government but that we as a people are blessed by individual liberty.

Ronald Reagan wrote, "God meant America to be free because God intended each man to have the dignity of freedom...." and that our Republic, "...must have a spiritual rebirth, a rededication of the moral precepts which guides us for so much of our past..."

Redistribution and an ever increasing size of big government will fail to achieve the results which Barack Obama has promised. We therefore, must not be discouraged by the results of the Presidential election but see this as another opportunity for a new Conservative Revolution in America.

Conservatism remains the best hope for our nations future, limiting the size of government, reducing taxes, cutting spending and providing unlimited prosperity by realizing all the countless opportunities that are unseen. We need to seize this moment and emphasize the strengths of courage, the character in ourselves, the wisdom of history and be looking forward and not relinquish the confidence that our best days are still just ahead of us.
