Several thousand supporters of former Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian protested his continued detention on Saturday.
The event began with a prayer led by Rev. Lo Rong-kuang, of the Taiwan Presbyterian Church, Democratic Progressive Party Chair
Tsai Ing-wen, joined the Human Rights Rally.
A young supporter of Chen cries during today's demonstration, another supporter holds up a banner that says, "Political Prosecution return my innocence the judiciary is dead the country mourns."
