Sichuan Memorial Park Opened, Earthquake Survivors Continue To Need Assistance
Relatives of Sichuan Earthquake victims sob in front of a monument at the ruins of Dinghekou Village Earthquake Memorial Park, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. The park opened this week to remember the 87,000 people that perished.
Earthquake survivors need winter assistance authorities say that more than 11 million people in the province need food, more than 3 million need warm clothing and quits for winter, 270,00 need medical care.
