Craigslist Enabling Illegal Drug Tafficking

Drug Dealing has become as rampant on Craigslist as the Sex Trade, that NYC Prosecutors have asked the online advertising giant to curb ads using code words such as "Ski, Tina or 420" in an effort to stop illegal narcotics trafficking.

On the 07 November I wrote here that Craigslist is a dangerous place to roam and that the online ad company signed a consent agreement with Attorney General's in 40 states in an effort to curb illegal sex solicitation ads.

Florida's State Attorney General was one of the handful of states that did not sign an agreement with Craigslist.

Under the agreement, persons wanting to post an "Erotic Services" ad will be required to post a $10 fee with a valid credit card and provide a phone number.

Florida AG Bill McCollum argues that it appears that posting the fee legitimizes prostitution and it is unclear where the fees collected will go? Craigslist claims that they will donate the fees to charity?

Craigslist remains a very dangerous place to roam.
