U.S. House Apologizes For Slavery

While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-CA refuses to allow votes on really important issues such as drilling for more oil, the Congress seems to have time to vote on Apologizing For Slavery.

By a voice vote on Tuesday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution apologizing for the enslavement and racial segregation of African Americans. Some observers see government apologies as the first step to financial reparations.
