Support Disinvestment From Iran

The International Community must continue to use every diplomatic, economic and political tool to pressure Iran to halt its Nuclear program.

Monday evening Senator John McCain spoke before AIPAC and said, "the United States should impose financial sanctions on Iran and the United States should launch an international disinvestment campaign from companies doing business with Iran." More here from Arutz Sheva

Why does Senator's Obama and McCain have Investments tied to Iran? Senator McCain's wife controls a trust fund that lists $315,000 in mutual funds whose investments include companies operating in Iran. Senator Obama, who last year sponsored legislation to encourage States to redirect investments from Iran, has a fund that includes $100,000 in investments tied to Iran. More here from UPI

Iran has sponsored state supported terrorism against the United States, Israel and our Western Allies for decades. Iran is engaged in a proxy war against the United States in Iraq. The United States and our allies must further intensify economic and political sanctions against fascist Iran which is a threat to our national security and Israel.

The United States must do more to prevent Nuclear Armed Iran the United States should also lead an international effort to curtail Iran's ability to import refined petroleum products. Limiting Iran's ability to import gasoline would have an immediate and severe impact on Iran's economy and dramatically increase pressure on the fascist regime to change course.
