Chinese Woman Rescued After 195 Hours
Thousands have been evacuating devastated areas around a lake and a river as water levels are reaching dangerous points. The disaster relief headquarters in Beichuan has reported that the Qianjiang River has been blocked by debris as a result of mudslides, authorities are making preparations for yet another natural disaster.
The death toll has now exceeded 40,000 people. Wang Youqun, a woman in her 60's has been found alive in Pengzhou more than 195 hours following the devastating Sichuan earthquake.
Hewlett-Packard Company Foundation has committed more than $1 Million Dollars to the American Red Cross International Relief Fund in partnership with the Red Cross Society of China for aid in the aftermath of the tragedy continuing to unfold in China.
