U.S. Supreme Court: States May Ignore ICJ


U.S. State Courts may ignore decisions by the International Court of Justice decisions, even if the U.S. President Orders them to, Justice's ruled last week, in a 6-3 ruling.

While the Justices recognized that the United States had an obligation to comply with Treaties ratified by Congress, there is no obligation for State Courts to act.
