Senator Barack Obama told a crowd gathered in Ohio that he supports same sex civil unions.In a separate letter Obama on his campaign web site says that he favored same sex unions that were equal to marriage and he believes in the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act "...a position I have held since before arriving in the U.S. Senate..."
