Cabaret For Baghdad Jim McDermott

Liberal Hero Baghdad Jim McDermott was the first Congressman to receive the not so prestigious Golden Spine Award for his "liberal courage" other undistinguished recipients include Denny Kucinich, D-OH; DNC Chairman Howard Dean & John Conyers, D-MI

The 2006 fund raiser for Baghdad Jim was to help him pay more than $700,000 for illegally turning over a taped conversation to reporters, violating the privacy rights of John Boehner, R-OH and Newt Gingrich, R-GA in 1996

Baghdad Jim was one of the three Democrat Members of Congress that took a trip to Iraq in 2002 just prior to the Iraq invasion---federal prosecutors say that Saddam Hussein's Intelligence Agency secretly financed the trip.

Muthanna Al-Hanooti, former head of the Michigan Branch of Council on American-Islamic Relations CAIR, has been charged with conspiracy and making false statements to the FBI. The Hussein Spy Al-Hanooti, was compensated with 2 million barrels of oil for his work.
