Ralph Nader has announced his candidacy for President saying that many people are "disenchanted" with the Democrats and Republicans and are seeking an alternative. Nader who ran in 2000 and 2004 is despised by many Democrats who call him a spoiler. Nader disputes the spoiler claims saying that Democrats have only themselves to blame for losing elections.Nader won 2.7% of the national vote in 2000 and received only 0.3% of the vote in 2004 appearing on the ballot in 34 States.
