George Washington put Service before self. Today we celebrate the Birthday of our first President (February 22, 1732) his personal example was the greatest gift to America.As our nation struggles with many faces of evil in our midst, a Rabbi reminded me of the promise God gave us 2nd Chronicles 7:14 "And my people, upon whom My name is called, humble themselves and pray and seek My presence and repent of their evil ways, I shall hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land."
