Saudi Arabia an ally of the War on Terror, has arrested Fouah-al-Farhan who has been vocal in writing about government corruption and advocating government reform.An Interior Ministry spokesperson has said that "al-Farhan was being questioned about specific violations of non-security laws."
The Saudi government heavily censors Internet access, content and political criticism. al-Farhan blog bears the tag line "Searching for freedom, dignity, justice, equality, Shura and the remaining Islamic values which are missing."
