Iran Continues To Issue Fake News Reports

Photograph of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Speedboats circling U.S. Navy ships operating in the Strait of Hormuz and threatening to blow them up---Remember the USS Cole

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said on Wednesday, "...that the U.S. video of Sunday's incident...in the Persian Gulf waters involving Iranian Patrol boats and U.S. warships was archive footage and the audio was fake." MEHR News.com---January 9, 2008

This is not the first time that Iran has attempted to lie and spread fake news reports. Yesterday I reported here that Iran was claiming Columbia Professors Plan to visit Iran and apologize to Ahmadinejad---Columbia University denied that story. "Columbia Says It Knows Of No Visit To Iran" NY Times, Jan. 9, 2008

Ahmadinejad like Fascist's before him believes, "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It then becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." Joseph Goebbels, Leader of the Nazi Propaganda machine.

Iran has been claiming that its nuclear ambitions are only for peaceful purposes? The fascist Islamic Republic continues to lie about its speedboats threatening a suicide attack on U.S. Navy ships operating in international waters when the evidence is clear. What else are they lying about and why should anyone believe anything Iran says?

Our late beloved President Abraham Lincoln said, "You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time but you can not fool all the people all the time."
