Asteroid To Make Near Pass Of Earth

An asteroid at least 500 feet long will make a close pass near the earth next Tuesday but NASA says there is no chance of it striking our planet.

Known to Scientists as 2007 TU24 it is expected to whiz on by with its closest approach of 334,000 miles or about 1.5 times the distance of the moon. The night time approach should allow for those viewing with a medium sized telescope to get a glimpse.
