The Palestinian Authority has raised $7.4 Billion Dollars from 90 donor countries more than the $5.5 Billion Dollar goal of President Mahmoud Abbas---U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice pledged $550 Million Dollars---the Intifada against Israel may now continue.While the money raised is supposed to help the Abbas Administration to build up institutions, the Palestinian Authority doesn't exactly have a good track record of spending money on rebuilding its economy as long as their is a war to fight against Israel.
At the signing of the Oslo Records in August, 1993 it was well understood that peace would only take shape, if the Palestinian Authority would receive welfare from nations around the world, to give peace a chance to work. The United States pledged some $6.5 Billion Dollars in commitments and some $4.4 Billion Dollars in disbursements to the West Bank/Gaza.
As of this year the Intifada has resulted in more than 4,300 Palestinian deaths and more than 1,000 Israeli deaths. Palestinian Arab Terrorist Thugs which include Militant groups such as Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, have continued to wage a guerrilla campaign against Israel Defense Forces using Palestinian suicide bombers, assault rifles to Qassam Rockets which have resulted in the deaths innocent Israel civilians.
Palestinian Terrorists have smuggled Strela shoulder fired missiles into Gaza which poses a risk to Israel aircraft---the missiles developed by the Soviet Union in the 1960's and then modernized are used against low flying aircraft.
In December 2005 the Palestinian Authority revealed a new law allocating money for families of Shahid---otherwise known as suicide bombers, paying the bombers families $250.00 if the bomber was married and $50.00 in addition if the suicide terrorist thug had children---another $15.00 would be added for each child. The funds would be paid from the general budget.
The war against Israel may now continue with the new financial commitments made. With $7.4 Billion Dollars more to spend on Shahid, more weapons and missiles, how many more innocent Israeli deaths will be realized by the Palestinian Authority which is determined to destroy the State of Israel.
