Beyond the Pain... "The Malki Foundation"

Life long friends Michal Raziel and Malki Chana Roth seen here spent their morning together on 09 August, 2001 and were standing side-by-side when a 22 year old Arab Terrorist Thug walked into a Sbarro Pizza Shop in Jerusalem, Israel and detonated himself, murdering 15 innocent people and wounding 100 others. The two friends are buried on Jerusalem's Mount Tamir in adjoining graves.

Malki's Father Arnold Roth, is outraged that Israel Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, has agreed to release 256 Fatah Members from Prison and granting Amnesty to 178 others with a Promise that they will not take part in any future Terrorist Activity, as a "Good Will" gesture to the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Arnold Roth said in an interview with Arutz Sheva News, "Beyond the pain, there is a deepening sense of betrayal and abandonment...among many of our politicians and political leaders to erase the memory and the lives of the victims and their deaths."

Former PA Television Reporter Ahlam Tamimi, drove the car that carried the suicide bomber to the Sabarro Pizza Restaurant in 2001 and Ms. Tamimi is currently one of the Fatah Members set to be released from prison. In a prison interview last year, Ms. Tamimi offered no remorse for what she had done and instead said, "...I am not sorry for what we did...she was unable to reach her twenties, Hamas saw to that." (Speaking of the murdered Malki)

The parents of Malki channeled their grief into a project which transforms the sadness of others into relief and eventual joy. "The Malki Foundation" (Keren Malki in Hebrew) honors their teenage daughter's memory by helping families who care at home for their "Special Needs Children"
