Tehran Planning 3rd Annual Women's Fashion Show
The Iranian Government is eagerly planning the much anticipated Fashion Show in Tehran exhibiting the Burka from the dark ages. In January 2007 Tehran celebrated the annual event as Models paraded the various Islamic Approved styles of Drab, Drab and More Drab to the delight of the religious guardians.
In the 1980's Americans were entertained by the Wendys Restaurant Commercial that exhibited the latest in Soviet Womens Fashions of
"...day wear, svim wear, evening wear..." that may still be seen on YouTube.
The Dress Code "Hejab" imposed by the tyrannical Islamic Fashion Gurus requires that Women must completely cover their hair and wear clothing which completely covers the contours of her body any Woman found to disobey this morality law is arrested and jailed by the morality police according to the Islamic Republic News Agency.
Since the Ahmadinejad Administration, authorities have been clamping down on the "Sharia Law" which governs Women's dress and some Women have been subjected to public lashings according to General Esmail Ahmadi-Moqaddam Police Chief Commander who said, "...we have a need for dealing with violations of the Islamic dress code and increasing the moral security in Iran."
Amnesty International has stated, "...Women in Iran are terrorized..." According to Mullah Alamol Hoda, "...violations of Islamic dress code is worse than crimes like stealing or murder. We must confront this issue swiftly and decisively. We must punish the violators..." (April 27, 2006)
Discrimination and humiliation of Women by Islamic Men creates an attitude of subjugation when Men dominate Women with impunity. Only real democratic change will free Women from the bondages of slavery in Iran.
