On the Campaign Trail with Edwards & Glover
Democratic Presidential hopeful John Edwards has embraced Actor Danny Glover and the pair are touring the southern states from South Carolina to Florida seeking support for the floundering campaign.
Danny Glover who starred with Mel Gibson in "Lethel Weapon" has introduced John Edwards to the "Natl, Conference of Black Mayors" and recently the duo worked to help hotel workers unionize in South Florida.
The American-Cuban community has become angered by the pair seeking support in the community since Danny Glover announced that Venezuela dictator Hugo Chavez has agreed to provide $18 Million Dollars in financing to produce a movie about "Toussaint Louverture" who led the 18th century slave rebellion in Haiti.
Socialist Dictator Hugo Chavez has called President George Bush "the Devil" and most recently has shut down all media outlets in Venezuela that have challenged his dictatorial regime.
A career military officer, Hugo Chavez founded the "5th Republic Movement" after orchestrating a failed "coup d'tat" in 1992 subsequently in 1998 Hugo Chavez was elected President on promises of aiding the poor.
After becoming President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez has nationalized the country into socialism, embracing Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
After 9/11 Hugo Chavez gave $1 Million Dollars to Al-Qaida according to former Air Force Major Juan Diaz Castillo, formally a military pilot to Hugo Chavez, now living in Miami. Following his defection from Venezuela, he has said, "...Debo advertir America sobre Chavez. El es un peligro no apenas a su propia gente sino a la region..." (I must warn America about Chavez. He is a danger not to just his own people but to the region.) Chavez was able to transfer $1 Million Dollars to Al-Qaida through the Venezuelan Ambassador in New Delhi.
In addition to Chavez-Al-Qaida links, the Venezuelan dictator has traveled to Iran, Syria, North Korea and Libya to bolster support of communist rebels in Columbia.
While Democrats are striving to win support in the Cuban American and Mexican American communities, our Spanish speaking friends and neighbors are realizing that the Democrats do not embrace freedom, moral values and opportunities. While Democrats cuddle up to Socialists and their friends, John Edwards spokesperson has said, "John doesn't have to agree with someone on every issue to stand with them on the ones he does."
Eres quienes son tus amigos. (You are who your friends are.)
As John Edwards is embracing Danny Glover and Hugo Chavez, Cuban Americans instead are seeking a candidate who embraces freedom, prosperity, democracy and family values in their new homeland.
