The Obama Administration's latest plan to solve the banking crisis
and get loans flowing to families---spend another $1 Trillion Dollars pretty much sounds like all of "Hope-n-Change plans.
Last week I wrote here that the Congressional Budge Office projects a
$9.3 Trillion Dollars budget deficit during the next 10 years.

Via International Herald Tribune"Hope-n-Change" budget proposals will balloon the federal budget deficit to $9.3 Trillion dollars over the next decade---the deficits would be nearly $5 Trillion dollars more than Obama's current projections according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Gone are the days of Obama's promised spending cuts and a new era of responsibility.

AIG Employees who received their bonuses for failure, are living in state of panic some have received death threats. Whats going on here? Does someone have to get killed before people take a step back, take a breath and blame the real culprits?
The federal bailout of AIG which made all this possible is the fault of Dem's in Congress and the Obama Administration which knew that the bonuses were going to be paid months ago. Yesterday I wrote here that Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-CT admitted that he lied when he initially acted outraged over the AIG Bonuses, in fact he was the archetect who was responsible for adding the provision in the bill and subsequently passed by the Democratic Congress which made it all possible.
Congress sudden indignation over the AIG bonuses is disingenuous and the House bill desighned to tax the bonuses at a 90% rate is likely unconstitutional.
Article 1 Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution states: "No bill of attainder or ex post fact law shall be passed."
In the bill passed by the House to tax AIG bonuses at a 90% rate, Congress has selected a class of people to confiscate their money after first allowing the bonuses to be paid.
For the law to be fair and just, Congress can not pass a bill that selects a group of people to punish. If Congress can confiscate money paid to certain AIG employees, how long will it be before Congress selects another group of people to confiscate their money? The next group may be you?
Those responsible for the AIG Bonuses are Members of Congress. Had the free marketplace been allowed to work, successful businesses prosper and the mismanaged businesses either are reorganized or fail. It is not the Congress, that should be nationalizing private businesses, picking and choosing which business are worth saving.
Whenever government gets involved in anything, they screw it up. "Hope-n-Change" wants to nationalize health care, how long will it take before Congress screws that up too?

After approving the AIG Bonuses the House under the leadership of Her Royal Majesty Nancy Pelosi, D-CA passed a 90% tax on the AIG Bonuses.
Scary---if Congress can select one group of people to tax at a 90% rate, whose money will they tax at exorbitant rates next ?

Federal Express said that they intend to lay off more people and cut wages as their 3rd. quarter profits fell 75%---Crude Oil prices climbed on fears of inflation and a weakening dollar.

"Hope-n-Change" climate plan could cost industry $2 Trillion Dollars nearly three times more than Obama's low ball estimate of the cost of Cap & Trade Legislation.The last thing we need are tax increases during a recession but Obama is proposing $1.9 Trillion Dollars in new taxes on every American that drives a car, turns on a light or buys a product manufactured in the United States.

Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd, D-CT told CNN's Dana Bash and Wolf Blitzer yesterday that he was responsible for adding the bonus loophole into the stimulus package that permitted AIG to use federal bailout money to pay bonuses.
On Tuesday, Dodd denied that he had anything to do with the provision inserted into the stimulus package.

More dismal news for "Hope-n-Change" handling of the economy as Caterpillar has announced they will be laying off 2,454 workers in 3 states.
Last month Barry Obama challenged Congress to pass his economic stimulus package at a visit to the Caterpiller plant in East Peoria, IL claiming that the company CEO assured him that it will allow Caterpillar to rehire laid off workers.
CEO Jim Owens, disputed that saying that the stimulus package wouldn't have enough effect and more lay offs would come regardless whether Congress passed the bill.
