Ni Hao Kai-lan Taking Kid's On Visit To China


Premiering Friday 14 August, at 10:00 a.m. Kai-lan and her friends, take children on visit to China, flying over the Great Wall to visit her Great Auntie and her Grandfather Yeye's sister.

The group is invited to attend a very special ceremony where a baby panda will be given his name, Kai-lan will travel around the village in search for the baby panda's gits and are amazed by all the interesting things they see in China.

Kai-lan trip is infused with rich cultural traditions, from the Chinese noodles the children eat to the decorative slippers their hosts wear.

China's Most Interesting Face Building

Jiaohe Town, Henan Province is the home for China's most interesting face building, from the road it sure would look like a regular two story building from the side, it is obvious the building is only 1.5 meters wide.

In February, 2008 Wen Liujun, expanded his living quarters, however because of a road in the front and a hilly slope in the rear, he built a triangular building which was narrowest 1.5 meters to the west and 5 meters to the east.

China Pulls Plug On Controversial "Green Dam" Internet Filtering Software



China has backed away from the controversial Internet filtering software hours before the new policy was scheduled to begin.

On the 12 June, I wrote here that Beijing was defensive about their new Internet filtering software called Green Dam, which authorities claimed was to stamp out Internet pornography to protect the kids? Critics assailed the program calling it nothing but censorship.
