Al-Qaeda has promised to release a new video from Osama bin-Laden, it has not said when the new video produced by it's media arm Al-Sahab entitled "The Path to Foiling Plots in Iraq" would be posted---in the past, Al-Qaeda messages have been released within 3 days of an announcement.
Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the murder of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid telephoned the Adnkronos International News Agency, claiming that "...Bhutto was murdered because she was close to the United States and vowed to finish off the Mujihadeen...Al-Qaeda decided to terminate Bhutto and that Ayman al-Zawahiri gave the go ahead. Death squads were sent consisting of Punjabi Men were sent on the mission and murdered the former Prime Minister Bhutto."
