郑钱花--川子



Singer Chuanzi (real name Jiang Yachuan) was once a troubled teenager and was imprisoned for assault when he was just 18 years old. After being released from jail at the age of 25 he tried to reconnect with old friends but none of them seemed willing to reunite with him.

With his prison record, it was touch for Chuanzi to find a regular job, subsequently he then started his career as a bar singer until he had saved enough money to open his own bar called "Riff Music Factory."

Chuanzi performance on "China's Got Talent" (Chinese reality show similar to America's Got Talent) shot him into the spotlight.

Child Labor Found Working In China Factories



China Labor Watch investigated three factories that supply American based companies that were found employing children as young as 15 years old, working under dangerous conditions and operating industrial machinery with little to no safety equipment or training.

Internet Activist Wang Lihong Targeted in China



On 01 August, Wang Lihong received the indictment documents for her upcoming trial, Chinese authorities have charged her with "creating a disturbance" from her involvement in a peaceful protest outside the sentencing hearing of three Netizens in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province in April, 2010

Article 293 in China's Criminal Code stipulates that once a Defendant is convicted for "creating a disturbance" they may be sentenced for up to 5 years in detention.
